IMPORTANT TOWN UPDATE: Waterline Issue – Water Usage Limit
Dear Residents,
The Town had hoped to see improvements in water pressure for those on Pond Road and Old Cove Road, but unfortunately, levels have not yet returned to normal.
We are requesting all residents in Rocky Harbour to limit water consumption from October 11th until October 15th.
Our Public Works team is actively investigating the cause of the low water pressure, monitoring low water levels at the pond and investigating possible leaks in the area. We want to clarify that at this point in time the issue is unrelated to the routine hydro flushing scheduled to prepare our system for winter.
For those affected, the Community Hall is available for showering. Please contact the Town Office for access.
We will provide an update later this afternoon as we head into the long weekend.
